Dada`s retirement unfortunate: Somnath Chatterjee

Lok Sabha speaker Somnath Chaterjee on Wednesday hinted at a bigger conspiracy behind Sourav Ganguly’s decision to retire from cricket. He hinted at a possible dark side to the decision while talking to reporters.

He said, “In don’t see any cricketing reasons for Ganguly’s retirement, it is unfortunate that he had to retire.”

He added that the most successful Indian captain must be treated with due honour.

The comments came a day after Sourav Ganguly shocked the world with his announcement that the upcoming Test series against Australia would be his last.
