Blackpool 1-3 Preston
Preston pulled away from Blackpool in the Championship table after recovering from conceding an early goal to beat their Lancashire rivals.
Adam Hammill fired into the top corner to put the home side ahead at Bloomfield Road in the ninth minute.
But Chris Brown's 54th-minute header triggered Preston's fightback and Neil Mellor nodded the visitors ahead from close range in the 68th minute.
Brown then converted Paul McKenna's cross late on to seal the victory.

Blackpool manager Simon Grayson:
"We had no desire or passion about us and that's something I never want associated with my team, especially in a local derby.
"The players lacked bottle and have to accept the criticism that is going to come their way and I will do likewise.
"There will certainly be one or two players looking over their shoulders to see if they will be in the team next week."
Preston manager Alan Irvine:
"Chris [Brown] is an important player for us and did a great job last season. Hopefully he's over the worst of his problems now and can do the same kind of job for us this year.
"We all know what derbies mean and hopefully this can kickstart our season.
"All our players are coming back from injuries, we played well today and we're feeling good about ourselves."
