Queensland Cricket rejects reports Black Caps verbally abused
Queensland Cricket's chief executive Graham Dixon has rejected reports that New Zealand players were the targets of systematic verbal abuse during the first Test at the Gabba.
New Zealand fast bowler Ian O'Brien claims the Black Caps were subjected to repeated abuse throughout the four days of the Test match.
But Dixon says no official complaint was made and the issue is now dead and buried.
"We've double-checked and triple-checked again today and so has Cricket Australia - spoken to New Zealand team management and they weren't in receipt of any such complaint either so it's a bit of a mystery to us this time," he said.
