Villarreal v Manchester United - Cristiano Ronaldo looks set to be fit
Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo looks set to be fit for Tuesday's Champions League tie at Villarreal after training on Monday.
With the Portuguese winger limping out of Saturday's 0-0 draw at Aston Villa, boss Sir Alex Ferguson had said his leg was in a "mess" and was a major doubt.
Darren Fletcher looks to have recovered from a knee injury, but Gary Neville and Dimitar Berbatov are out.
Edwin Van der Sar is rested with Tomasz Kuszczak or Ben Foster ready for duty.
Berbatov is missing the trip to Spain with a hamstring injury picked up on international duty for Bulgaria last week.
Neville is still nursing a groin strain picked up in the Carling Cup win over QPR and is likely to be missing for a couple of weeks.
United need a point in Spain to reach the Champions League knockout stages.
Manchester United squad: Foster, Kuszczak, Rafael, O'Shea, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evans, Evra, Ronaldo, Park, Anderson, Fletcher, Carrick, Giggs, Nani, Rooney, Tevez, Possebon, Gibson, Manucho.
