Stenson extends lead in Sun City
Sweden's Henrik Stenson will take an eight-shot lead into the final round of the Sun City Challenge in South Africa.
Stenson had to complete his second round early after lightning stopped play on Friday and he carded a 71.
The 32-year-old added a seven-under-par 65 for 17 under overall. Fellow Swede Robert Karlsson fired a third-round 67 and is nine under for the tournament.
South Africa's Rory Sabbatini is six under, America's Kenny Perry five under and England's Lee Westwood four under.
Pre-tournament favourite Sergio Garcia of Spain could only manage a level-par 72 and is 15 shots adrift of Stenson.
Luke Donald carded a 71 and is three shots further back at one over par and fellow Englishman Justin Rose is two over after a third-round 72.
Stenson is now within striking distance of the tournament record of 25 under par set by Ernie Els in 1999.
"My priority tomorrow is just to win," said the world number 12. "I'm not going to focus on the record, just play hole by hole and see where it goes.
"It will be fun playing with Robert [Karlsson] tomorrow. I'm sure he will go out and try to put me under pressure early on so I just need to keep my head down."
