Murray Defeats Llodra, But Both Impress on Grandstand

Who says that a memorable match has to go five sets? Michael Llodra and Andy Murray disproved that theory today on Grandstand after their four-set battle captivated fans from start to finish. The stadium had been hanging on every point, and when Murray finally emerged victorious (6-4, 1-6, 7-5, 7-6), his vocal British supporters were delirious.

Bryan Brothers Entertain in Round One

The Bryan brothers, the 2005 US Open men’s doubles champions and this year’s No. 2 seed, were their usual entertaining and buoyant selves as they faced off against Nicolas Almagro and Pablo Andujar of Spain. While the Spanish duo gave the Bryans a run for their money, the No. 2 seeds moved on in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2.
