Fitness test for Galekovic ahead of ACL semi
Adelaide United goalkeeper Eugene Galekovic will have a fitness test tomorrow before Wednesday's deciding Asian Champions League (ACL) semi-final against Bunyodkor.
Galekovic is recovering from a groin injury but Adelaide coach Aurelio Vidmar says the keeper's chances of playing are improving.
"We'll give him every chance for Wednesday. He's feeling better already so we're not going to work him too much," he said.
"We'll just get some rest and treatment over the next couple of days so we'll probably get a better indication on tuesday night."
The Adelaide squad has arrived in Tashkent from Singapore following a training session late yesterday in humid conditions.
Vidmar says it has prepared his squad for a tough encounter.
"We just needed to go out and just have a little bit of a sweat-up," he said.
"But (we) didn't have to do much to get a sweat on cause of the humidity, but it's all good. Everyone's injury-free and ready to go."
